"I have been dealing with a health issue since 2009. I had a very specific cancer that nobody in my family ever dealt with before. I asked my oncologist if she thought it was possible the cause may be related to a chemical I'd been exposed to over the years. She didn’t think there was any correlation. So, really, on a whim I called my LegalShield provider law firm about it (because I could, for free). This was early 2019. Long story short, two and a half years later, on December 31, 20201, I received a settlement check from my law firm. If we didn’t have LegalShield, I never would have called a lawyer. Let’s just say that the settlement we received will pay for our LegalShield and IDShield plans for the next 63 years. I may not use my legal plan all the time but, when I do, it works, man."

“I got a traffic ticket about a month ago. I took a photo of it with my LegalShield app and uploaded it to my provider law firm here in Michigan. This was on Friday night. On Monday morning, a lawyer from my law firm called and asked about the details, which I shared. He said the attorney who would represent me would call me soon. He did, but I missed that - he left a message saying he filed an appearance at a pretrial hearing and would let me know when the date would be. A week later I got another call (which I missed) and he said the date was set and he’d be appearing for me...and I DID NOT NEED TO BE THERE. The day before the hearing he called to remind me he was going. The following day, he left me a message which said, ‘MR PRICOPIO, I went to court on your ticket. I was able to get the original ticket dismissed and have it put in as a parking ticket, so the fine is substantially less. I was also able to get you two weeks to pay, which you can do online. I hope this will work for you. Let me know if there are any questions.’ I LOVE my LegalShield! I had absolutely no stress over this ticket. "I had an issue with my landlord here in TX, so I called (legal plan). My attorney wrote a letter to try to mediate the issue but my landlord refused to respond. My attorney then advised me to refuse to pay rent to the landlord and put the rent into an escrow account instead. After 2 months of not paying rent, the landlord filed to evict me from the property. Thanks to the trial defense hours provided and covered by my membership, my provider law firm hired a local attorney to represent me in my town. We went to court together, the attorney explained my rights as a tenant and what the landlord’s legal responsibilities are to the tenant and everything turned out in my favor: The judge ordered that I didn’t have to pay 3 months’ rent for the neglect of the landlord and that the landlord had to fix the issues immediately! "My wife has had ongoing health issues and was given the ultimatum to go back on disability or lose her job last October. She has several issues and several doctors... three of whom said she needed to go on permanent disability.

After hoping her condition would improve and praying about it, my wife decided to file for Social Security Disability. While gathering the documentation and doing research, we learned that one big challenge with filing for SSD is that lawyers typically get a big chunk of the initial payment because most requests are not approved the first time they are submitted.

My wife called LegalShield and discussed her case with an attorney who is an expert in this area of law. The attorney advised her to file on her own the first time, and, if needed, their firm would join in on the appeal. I own a carpet cleaning business with just one employee beside myself. I'm too busy trying to earn every day we’re open for business to handle all the collections of debt my business is owned by former customers. I enrolled for the LegalShield business plan for protection but mainly to help with collections of the $8k in receivables I had no time to chase down.
