Tuck Law Group Wins “Best Law Firm in Bastrop County” for the Third Consecutive Year and Announces Exciting Merger
Tuck Law Group has once again been named the “Best Law Firm in Bastrop County” for 2024, marking the third consecutive year it has won the title since the category’s inception.
In conjunction with this achievement, Joe Grady Tuck, the firm’s founder, is proud to announce the merger with McClimon Family Law, PLLC. The merger follows the recent success of Elizabeth Beyer, the firm’s current Managing Partner, in the March GOP primary, where she secured 64% of the vote. With no Democratic opponent, Elizabeth is set to assume her role as District Judge for the 465th District Court on January 1, 2025. Caroline McClimon will succeed Elizabeth as Managing Partner.
Caroline McClimon, a Board Certified Family Law Attorney and a distinguished member of the “Super Lawyer” list in Texas, also serves as the Presiding Judge of the City of Bastrop Municipal Court. She joins forces with Joe Grady Tuck, a seventh-generation Bastrop County resident and former District Attorney of the 216th Judicial District, to lead the newly formed “Tuck McClimon, PLLC.”
Dareld Ray Morris III, a fifth-generation Bastrop County resident and former President of Smithville Independent School District, will serve as “Of Counsel” to the firm. Dareld primarily practices Business and Real Estate law.
Also joining the firm is Family Law Attorney Deanna Hogan, alongside Associate Attorney Rebecca O’Connor, who focuses on Estate Planning and Probate.
Located at 906 Main Street, Tuck McClimon, PLLC, is the largest law firm headquartered in Bastrop County. The firm also operates Chicago Title at 908 Main Street, adjacent to their office. Joe Grady Tuck, with over 50 years of experience in title insurance and real estate law, is part of a family legacy that includes notable developments such as Bluebonnet Acres, Lake Bastrop Acres, and the Colorado Estates Subdivision.
In addition to his legal practice, Joe Grady serves on the board of the Bastrop County Museum and the Bastrop Opera House. Caroline McClimon, the new Managing Partner, has a long history of leadership, having served as President of the Bastrop County Bar Association, where she successfully lobbied for the creation of the 465th District Court.
Though the firm will bid farewell to Judge-Elect Beyer upon her judicial appointment, Tuck McClimon, PLLC, remains committed to delivering top-tier legal services to clients in Bastrop, Travis, Williamson, Fayette, Lee, Gonzales, and Milam counties.
