Please join us in welcoming Jackie R. Waneck to Tuck McClimon, PLLC!
Jackie joined our team in January 2026. She was admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Texas in October 2025 after earning her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law in May 2025.
Prior to attending law school, Jackie spent 16 years in public education, most of which she served as the Special Education Director for Bastrop Independent School District. During her career in public schools, she developed a strong commitment to advocating for children, families, and public educators, an interest that continues to inform her legal practice.
While in law school, Jackie focused her studies on environmental law, elder law, and child advocacy. She gained hands-on experience in family law as a Student Attorney ad Litem representing children under CPS supervision through Children’s Rights Clinic at Texas Law.
Jackie’s legal experience also includes federal judicial internships in the Western District of Texas and legal clerkships with Walsh Gallegos Trevino & Kyle, Lloyd Gosselink Rochelle & Townsend, Allensworth & Porter, and the Lower Colorado River Authority. Before joining Tuck McClimon, she practiced as an Associate Attorney with Allensworth & Porter in Austin, Texas.
Since joining Tuck McClimon, Jackie has focused her practice on family law, civil litigation, and estate planning. She is committed to providing thoughtful, practical, and client-centered representation, recognizing that each legal matter presents unique challenges and requires tailored solutions.
Jackie resides in Rosanky, Texas, with her husband, a wildlife biologist and cattle rancher. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors with their three dogs. She is proud to serve the people of Bastrop and the surrounding communities.
