Getting support can be a turning point, not a last resort.

Last year, 211 made more than 1.1 million referrals for mental health and substance use support, connecting people to counseling, crisis services, recovery programs, and local care.

No one should have to navigate those moments alone. πŸ’™

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice reminds us of the true cost of freedom and the importance of faith, unity, and compassion.

At Talbot House Ministries, we are deeply grateful to all who have served and continue to serve our country and communities. May we never forget the courage of our heroes and the legacy they leave behind.

Today was a beautiful reminder that when organizations come together with a shared heart for children and families, lives are transformed.

We had the privilege of visiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County – George Jenkins Memorial Complex in Winter Haven, where Nicole Broxterman, Major Gifts Officer, graciously welcomed us and provided an inspiring tour of their recently renovated, state-of-the-art facility. The level of excellence, intentionality, and care poured into this magnificent space is truly commendable.

At Talbot House Ministries Center for Women and Children, we believe every child deserves access to safe spaces, positive mentorship, educational enrichment, and opportunities to dream beyond their current circumstances. We are thrilled that approximately 15 children and youth from our program will soon have the opportunity to become part of such an empowering environment.

Kudos to the entire Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County team for their unwavering commitment to investing in the next generation. Your dedication is creating brighter futures, stronger communities, and lasting hope for countless young lives across Polk County.

Partnerships like these remind us that real change happens when compassion, leadership, and community unite with purpose. We are grateful for this collaboration and excited for the incredible impact ahead. πŸ’™βœ¨
