📈 A quick look at the Northwest Suburbs housing market in May.

One thing that stands out to me is that we’re seeing more homes come on the market while buyers are still actively making moves. Buyers have more options than they did earlier this spring, and sellers are continuing to benefit from steady demand and strong home values.

Of course, real estate is local, and what happens from one neighborhood to the next can look very different.

✨ Tuesday Tip for Downsizers ✨

Downsizing can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve spent years or even decades making a house your home.

One thing I’ve learned from helping families through this transition is that starting early makes all the difference. Giving yourself time to sort through belongings and make thoughtful decisions can make the entire process feel much more manageable.

MOVE THE MARKET MONDAY ✨ Not every home search starts with a listing.

These buyers had a very specific area in mind, so I decided to take a different approach. Instead of waiting for the right home to hit the market, I used targeted marketing to connect with homeowners who may be more likely to consider a move.

Most of the time, those conversations don’t lead anywhere. But sometimes they create opportunities that buyers would never see if they only focused on homes already on the market.

It’s one of the ways I help buyers stay proactive and explore possibilities beyond what’s currently available.

Almost 8 Months Searching for the Perfect Home 🏡…
