I officiated my first wedding in October 2008 simply because I was asked. Since then, I have turned officiating weddings into a part-time vocation. Officiating weddings is a joy and I love being able to provide my services as wedding officiate. I have the opportunity to meet so many people at a joyous and momentous time in their lives. Great afternoon for a wedding. Last ceremony for the season, too.

Denise and David are a lovely couple. No sooner had they sealed their vows with a kiss, but they were approached by a young man asking if they would witness him propose to his girlfriend. My couple's photographer's captured the moments, too.

Readers may wonder why I do not post many photos of couples I marry.

A reason is many of my clients are eloping without family knowing their plans while vacationing.

To respect their privacy, I do not post photos of them until well after the event and only with their permission.

It is an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to be a part of a couple's first moments as a married partnership; one I do not take for granted.
