Recently, the Board has published two new forms and updated several others, along with the announcement of the new State Average Weekly Wage, which went into effect on July 1, 2026. New State Average Weekly Wage (SAWW):
As of July 1, 2026, the new State Average Weekly Wage is $1,249.12. The maximum compensation rate for injuries occurring on or after January 1, 2020 will be set at $1,561.40 for the payment period extending from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The multiplier for COLA purposes is 1.04194054.
New and Updated WCB Forms:
The updated forms will be effective starting June 1, 2026; however, they will not be mandatory until September 1, 2026. In addition to the forms that were updated, the Board has also published two new, optional forms (WCB-2.1 Comparable Wages and WCB-3A One-Time Memorandum of Payment.
