After reviewing some recent health information, I’ve learned that I’m experiencing higher-than-normal cholesterol levels and plaque buildup. If I don’t make some adjustments, I could be putting myself at risk for a heart attack or stroke.
What’s interesting is that this isn’t coming from years of unhealthy eating. It’s coming from decades of extreme physical stress, injuries, surgeries, long work hours, and pushing my body beyond its limits.
I’ve been working in construction since I was 15 years old. I’m 41 now. For over 25 years, I’ve built, lifted, climbed, drilled, carried, managed crews, and done whatever it took to provide for my family.
But I’m entering a new season of life.
That doesn’t mean I’m slowing down. It means I’m becoming smarter with where I direct my energy.
Instead of being the person holding the drill, I’m becoming the person teaching others how to use the drill.
Instead of doing all the work myself, I’m teaching others how to build businesses, create opportunities, and develop skills that can change their lives.
I’m transitioning into private lending, supporting my wife’s real estate business, and continuing to build Wealth Within Reach so we can help more people create financial freedom, ownership, and generational wealth.
I’ll still be active. I’ll still walk daily. I’ll still train, teach, mentor, and lead.
But moving forward, my focus is on working with my mind, my experience, and my wisdom—not continuing to sacrifice my health for a paycheck.
Sometimes growth requires us to let go of who we’ve always been so we can become who we’re meant to be next.
This is my next chapter.
