Before I started the inspection on this brand new home, the buyer was skeptical about needing it to be done. When I showed her my findings, she was ecstatic about having me there.

I guess the plumber thought his drain placement exceeded the importance of the structural integrity of the bathroom/home.

The seller stated they replaced faulty waste plumbing, and routed the sump discharge to the exterior. "Upon reinspection, we have determined that was a lie." (In my Maury voice.)

Not everything that we see is positive. This was probably the most egregiously "renovated" attics we have been in. Being that there was little to no flooring under the insulation and air handler, along with the unprotected wiring. We were just glad to have made it out safely.
