Torres graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law and has been a member of the California Bar since 1988. For over 20 years he has been a successful attorney at law in Kern County, focusing his practice on federal and state criminal defense. Torres has extensive experience in criminal defense, where he has tried over 146 felony jury trials to verdict, including 15 homicides. Additionally, he

is fluent in both Spanish and English. Torres served as the President of the Kern County Bar Association in 2008, and serves on the board for KC Criminal Defense Section and Central California Appellate Advocacy Program. He is currently admitted to practice law in California, and the US District Court, Southern District. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
