Leasing commercial space can be tricky and once you sign that lease, you have to live and die by that contract. Usually for tenants there are no easy ways out of the lease clauses and most of the times a tenant who leaves early may be responsible for paying landlord the entire lease. Even during governmental lock down such as the ones we saw with Covid, a commercial tenant may have to pay rent and perform under the lease. (CARES) Act Rebate. if you did not receive the stimulus payment from the federal government you may be entitled to a rebate on your 2020 tax return. To claim the rebate you must:

Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien in 2020;
Cannot be claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer for tax year 2020; and
Have a Social Security number valid for employment that is issued before the due date of your 2020 tax return (including extensions).

Eligible individuals can claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on their 2020 Form 1040 or 1040-SR. These forms can also be used by people who are not normally required to file tax returns but are eligible for the credit.
