Mark passionately advises, supports, and defends Texas school clients, recognizing the critical importance of public education. With over 30 years of experience, he has counseled school districts and other governmental entities on a broad range of issues, including labor and employment, student discipline, contracts and purchasing, open government, elections, civil rights matters, and constitutional law.

A prolific writer, speaker, and trainer on legal issues affecting public schools, Mark's articles on employment law, constitutional law, student discipline, and the Open Meetings Act have been featured in numerous law publications. He has also been quoted on education law issues in the Wall Street Journal.

Mark is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois and the University of Texas School of Law. He is licensed to practice in all Texas courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Western, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
