Hey Hi & Hello! My name is Zach - I'm glad you're here! Here is a little about who you'll be working with to help find you the perfect apartment in Austin and the surrounding areas!
🔳 I have lived in ATX for 8+ years. I currently live in South Austin with my lovely wife Amy and our two cats Fezzik & Inigo
🔳 I'm an Americorp Alum! I worked for the Texas Conservation Corp in 2009-10 working on trail restoration/construction, removal of invasive species, and other various tasks to help maintain and conserve natural beauty around the state! If you are hiking on the Green Belt here in Austin, chances are I've worked on that trail!
🔳 I am a lifelong vegetarian. My parents raised me this way and, while meat sometimes smells good, I will most likely never eat it at this point. Want recs on best veggie burgers in Austin? I gotchu!
🔳 I play a ton of disc golf these days. I used to play rugby in college but a broken neck put a damper on that for me.
🔳 Music, while I don't play a single instrument, is very important to me. I have something playing in the background whenever possible and you can often find me attending shows around town. My favorite venue is ACL Live at the Moody Theater for sitting and The Historic Scoot Inn for standing/dancing.
🔳 My favorite artists are (but not limited to) Ratatat, The Strokes, J Cole, Mac Miller, Trampled by Turtles, DEHD, Francis and the Lights, Arctic Monkeys, Shakey Graves, The Tallest Man on Earth, WET, Manchester Orchestra, Future Islands, M83, The Avalanches, Joanna Newsom, and Motion City Soundtrack.
🔳 I grew up in Storrs, CT (go Huskies!) and lived in Greensboro, NC for 8 years where I attended and later worked for a small liberal arts college. My degrees are in Justice and Policy Studies, Sculpture, Environmental Science, and Film.
🔳 I am a maximalist. I have many collections which include sneakers, records, ceramics, polaroid cameras, show posters, old radios, and more!
