SAN ANTONIO, TX - A 44-year-old man went to the hospital Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle rollover along a busy San Antonio roadway.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the area of 4200 Roosevelt Avenue, which is at the south side of Stinson Park near 99th Street.

The investigation indicates that a southbound driver left the roadway after losing control of his vehicle. He then overcorrected, causing his vehicle to overturn multiple times. The force of the crash threw the driver from the vehicle.

Medics transported the driver to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident with speculation that the driver may have fallen asleep or experienced a medical episode.

AUSTIN, TX - A pedestrian died on Monday in Austin after at least one vehicle struck them along the interstate near Capital Plaza.

The incident happened early in the morning on the northbound side of I-35 near exit 238B, which is between the Mueller neighborhood and US-290.

Police have not shared many details regarding the accident. They say that one vehicle remained at the scene but that other vehicles may have been involved in the accident.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the pedestrian who was killed in the crash.

Officials closed the northbound lanes of the interstate in the area of the collision while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 11:30 a.m.

COPPERAS COVE, TX - A central Texas man was killed and two others were injured in a fiery head-on crash in Copperas Cover on Saturday afternoon.

Police say Bernard Christian Uhler II, 48, was headed south on FM-116 shortly before 12:30 p.m. when his vehicle drifted into the oncoming lanes and crashed head-on into a 2023 Toyota pickup truck.

Uhler was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Both occupants of the pickup, ages 46 and 42, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

AUSTIN, TX - Arthur L. Wright, 35, has been arrested in connection with a fiery wreck that claimed the lives of four people in South Austin early Sunday.

The incident occurred in front of the Toyota Dealership off I-35 near Colonial Park Boulevard at around 2:30 a.m.

Video footage showed Wright causing the crash, resulting in a black Nissan being hit from behind and rolling over before bursting into flames.

Four occupants of the Nissan suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

Investigators say the crash occurred at about 10:24 p.m. when a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado “failed to give one half of the roadway” on Delta Post Drive near Chamberlain Court and collided head-on with a Kawasaki Brute Force 300 Utility ATV. The Chevrolet then continued down the road without stopping.

EL PASO, TX - A collision in northeast El Paso Wednesday afternoon claimed the lives of two teens and left two others, including a child, injured.

The incident occurred when an SUV ran the red light at Gateway North Boulevard and McCombs Street, causing a collision with a 2010 Toyota Scion carrying 19-year-old Daniel Thurman and an 18-year-old passenger.

Both occupants of the Scion were taken to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to their injuries.

The second vehicle involved was a 2016 Jeep Patriot driven by 31-year-old Leneisa Speller, who was traveling southbound at the time of the crash. Speller and her 8-year-old male passenger sustained injuries of undisclosed severity.
