Good afternoon! We are receiving a lot of questions regarding the Affirmative Relief Announcement from the Biden Administration and wanted to provide some reliable resources. Attached is a flyer provided by the American Immigration Lawyer Association. This is an exciting announcement but it is important to note is that we do not have a lot of information yet. The Administration has not clarified all of the eligibility requirements, when the program will be available, or what the application process will look like. Please beware of scams and do not rely on information from non-lawyers (notarios) claiming to be able to determine eligibility or complete the application (there isn’t one available yet). Also, we anticipate the program will be challenged in court, which will delay implementation of the program. At this time, we are happy to schedule consultations to discuss general eligibility but we will not be able to provide a full evaluation until we know more.
