As Ethiopia speaks of peaceful elections, troubling reports continue to emerge from
, where Orthodox Christian communities have faced repeated attacks. According to church and local sources, more than ten Orthodox Christians were killed, the historic St. Gabriel Church was reportedly looted and burned, and many families were forced to flee their homes. Arsi has become a hotspot for violence targeting Orthodox Christian communities, raising serious concerns about security, religious freedom, and the protection of innocent civilians. These tragic events deserve attention, accountability, and a commitment to ensuring that all Ethiopians can live and worship in peace.

የሀዋሳ ከተማ ነዋሪዎች በ7ኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ ላይ በነቂስ ወጥተው በመሳተፍ ላይ ይገኛሉ።

በከተማዋ ሜሪጆይ ህዳሴ ምርጫ ጣቢያ ድምጿን ለመስጠት የተገኘችው ወ/ሮ ማህሌት ወልዴ ለመምረጥ ተዘጋጅታ ሳለ ነበር ድንገት በምጥ የተያዘችው።

በዚህም ነዋሪዋ ለሚቀጥሉት 5 ዓመታት ይበጃል ለምትለው ተመራጭ ድምጿን ሰጥታ በአቅራቢያዋ ወደሚገኝ የጤና ተቋም አምርታለች።
