๐ As we celebrate 55 years in business, we thought it would be a good time to reintroduce ourselves.
Pilmer Real Estate has been serving Aurora and the surrounding communities since 1971. It's truly a dream come true. What started with founder Marvin Pilmer grew into a family business, with Geraldine Pilmer keeping the books and their daughter, Linda Pilmer, building a career that spans more than four decades.
We're sharing a few newspaper articles from the 1980s that captured special moments in our history, including Linda earning her CRS designation and being appointed Sales Manager of our former Oswego office by her father.
Over the years, we've called several locations home, including offices in Oswego, Plano, Yorkville, North Aurora, West Aurora, and on Farnsworth Avenue. We also had a commercial division and a relocation division. We've remained at our current office on the corner of Prairie Street and Elmwood Drive on Aurora's southwest side since the early 1970s. This is our home away from home. It's where we've welcomed generations of clients and friends.
Along the way, we even sponsored our own baseball team. We've watched kids grow up, and now we're watching their kids grow up.
Technology has changed. The market has changed. Our team has evolved. But one thing has never changed:
