The majority of your documents can be uploaded directly to a secure site using you phone. From there, I can do all the analysis and case preparation from anywhere in the world. Court documents can then be filed online. Even some of the actual court proceedings have moved online with COVID. There are still certain items that need to be performed in person; but, that list is drastically shrinking. COVID had the inadvertent effect of accelerating the integration of technology into our everyday lives by years. How does the process work? Once you schedule your initial appointment, you will be sent a Zoom link. Zoom allows for live person to person interaction using your computer’s microphone and camera. After completion of the initial consultation, if you are retained as a client, you will receive an engagement letter and drop box link. Any necessary documents are uploaded directly into the secured site where they can viewed by your attorney. At that point, you will receive regular communication updates regarding your case and the next steps. Simple Right. This allows you to avoid the trip downtown, DTC, etc… and do almost everything from home.
