Last weekend Jordan Maurer had the opportunity to switch roles in the courtroom and serve as the presiding judge for the Placer County High School Mock Trial Competition.

It was a highly competitive trial and the teams from West Park High School and Oakmont High School kept him on his toes. Impressive work all around.

Jordan Maurer had the honor of introducing his good friend and fellow lawyer James Moore as the recipient of the Placer County Bar Association’s Annual Pro Bono Award.

James devoted hundreds of volunteer hours through pro tem work, service on PCBA committees, and coaching the West Park High School Mock Trial Team. His commitment to the community truly stands out.
