It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arnold W. Umbach, Jr., a founding member of this firm. For over half a century, Arnold was a pillar in both the legal field and this community. His wise legal counsel to the City, the schools and business leaders helped to ensure the prosperity that each enjoy today; however, it was his humility and benevolence toward those in our community who most needed, and could least afford, legal aid that were hallmarks of his career. His strength and professional philosophy serve as the bedrock of this firm, and we strive everyday to uphold the example he set not only as an attorney, but as a gentleman.
