All of us at TAPM are delighted at the turnout for our Annual Seminar, which took place yesterday. The speakers - Murphy Funkhouser, Anne Sawyer, Claire Fowler, Natalie Fleury, and Kenneth Cloke - were engaging and interesting and we broadcast the acceptance remarks for our Grayfred Gray award winners (Janet McMullen and Sharon Upshaw). Thanks to everyone involved for a wonderful day, especially Kim Best, Robin Wheeler, and Karen Phillips for all their help in event preparation, and Jen Comiskey and Lainey Krzystowczyk for hosting and handling admin tasks.

TAPM is proud to present the 2025 Grayfred Gray Public Service in Mediation Award to Sharon Upshaw and Janet McMullen. We invite you to view their remarks on peacemaking and community service.

Congratulations to these amazing women, who have a combined total of 50 years doing in community mediation work in Knoxville and beyond. They are a credit to our profession, an inspiration to their colleagues, and a guiding light to those they serve.
