No matter how nice the adjuster seemed on the phone, insurance companies are not your friends. Don't speak to them or give a statement without an attorney on the line, but if you've already given one, be completely honest with your attorney about what you said, even if you're worried some of it wasn't ideal. What feels damaging can often be addressed, but only if your attorney knows the full picture.
