USCIS is now accepting initial/first time applications for DACA for individuals who qualify for but never applied before or were denied for some reason. USCIS is also accepting applications for advance parole (permission to travel) for those who have DACA or are applying for it now. You qualify for DACA if you meet the following criteria:
1. You are at least 15 years of age;
2. You were under 31 years of age on June 15, 2012;
3. You came to the United States before your 16th birthday;
4. You have continuously lived in the US from June 15, 2007, up to the present time;
5. On June 15, 2012, you were present in the US and did not have any valid immigration status;
6. You are currently in school, or have graduated from high school, or obtained a GED certificate. You can enroll in any an education, literacy, or career training program, including an English as a Second Language (ESL) program or job training;
7. You have not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor, or three or more other misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety.
You qualify for DACA even if you are in removal/deportation proceedings or have previously been issued removal order or voluntary departure order.

USCIS ahora está aceptando solicitudes iniciales para DACA para personas que califican para DACA pero que nunca se aplicaron antes o se les negó por alguna razón. Además, USCIS está aceptando solicitudes de “ADVANCE PAROLE” o permiso para viajar para aquellos que tienen DACA o lo están solicitando ahora. Usted califica para DACA si cumple con los siguientes criterios:
1. Usted tiene al menos 15 años;
2. Usted era menor de 31 años de edad el 15 de junio de 2012;
3. Usted mea mí a los Estados Unidos antes de su 16 cumpleaños;
4. Usted vive continuamente en los EE.UU. desde el 15 de junio de 2007, hasta la actualidad;
5. El 15 de junio de 2012, usted estuvo presente en los EE.UU. y no tenía ningún estatus migratorio válido;
6. Actualmente está en la escuela, o se ha graduado de la escuela secundaria, u obtenido un certificado GED. Puede inscribirse en cualquier programa de educación, alfabetización o capacitación profesional, incluyendo inglés como segundo programa de idiomas o capacitación laboral;
7. Usted no ha sido condenado por un delito grave, un delito menor significativo o tres o más delitos menores, y no representa una amenaza para la seguridad nacional o la seguridad pública.
Usted califica para DACA incluso si está en un proceso de remoción/deportación o si se le ha emitido previamente una orden de remoción o una orden de salida voluntaria.
