*Sidenote* One of my favorite things to do in foreign countries is to ride public transportation, talk to locals, and juxtapose what they feel about their country with what I’ve heard about it.

2 months after this picture was taken, that square was burning (Revolution of Dignity). The Ukrainian president, who was cozy with Russia, was overthrown and Russia didn’t like it, and started moving folks in.

Now, 8 years later, this…these folks have been through a lot, but they’re a resilient bunch.
⠀
It’s important, as a global citizen, to be informed and concerned about injustices going on both at home and abroad. We live in a global economy, meaning what happens elsewhere has an effect here.

But it’s also important, as a Kingdom citizen, to do what you can, and trust God to handle what only God can, resting on the fact that God is just, even amidst injustice all around. Only God can change hearts…
