Most people picture a witness stand. Most cases never get near one.
Almost every person who calls us asks the same question before anything else: do I have to go to court?
Here is the honest answer. After a long time at this desk, the number of our clients who have actually stood in front of a jury is small. Most of a case happens in paperwork, phone calls, and negotiations you are barely part of. The version you have seen on TV is the exception, not the routine.
That does not mean court is off the table. It means you should not let fear of a courtroom decide whether you ask a question.
Worried about it? Ask us before you decide anything.
