🏡 Your house doesn't have to be perfect to go on the market.
I think sellers sometimes look around their homes and see a giant to-do list.
The scratched hardwood.
The bathroom that hasn't been updated since everyone had a landline.
The room you've been meaning to paint for approximately seven years.
That one cabinet door that requires a very specific lifting-and-shoving maneuver. 😏
Here's the thing:
Buyers aren't expecting every house to be brand new.
Before we list a home, my job is to help a seller figure out three things:
🔨 What actually needs to be fixed
✨ What would help the home show better
💰 What isn't worth spending money on
Sometimes we make improvements. Sometimes we adjust the price accordingly. And sometimes I tell a seller, “Leave it alone.”
Preparing a house for market isn't about making it perfect.
It's about making smart decisions about where your time and money will actually matter.

🔥 Well, that’s one way to make an entrance! I spend a lot of time looking at houses, and every once in a while, I come across something that makes me stop and say, well, you don’t see that every day! Case in point: this home is for sale in Greenville, South Carolina. The soaring Wood ceilings are beautiful. The open living space is impressive. But can we talk about that suspended fireplace? It’s part fireplace, part sculpture, and part conversation starter. One of my favorite things about real estate is discovering homes with personality. Whether your style is traditional, contemporary, or somewhere in between, there’s something wonderful about a house that refuses to be ordinary. ♥️ a house doesn’t have to look like every other house to feel like home. Now I need your opinion! Would you love the fireplace in your living room, or would you rather have something a little more traditional? I’m genuinely curious!

If you live around Tucker and North DeKalb, you know answering “Where do you live?” isn't always as straightforward as it sounds.
Tucker? Northlake? Oak Grove? Briarlake? Henderson Mill? Sagamore Hills? North Druid Hills?
And then there's always:
“Well, technically my address says Atlanta, BUT…” 😂
That's one of the things I love about this part of town. We have all these little communities and neighborhoods tucked together, each with its own personality, favorite places and people who are very specific about what their neighborhood is called.
So I'm curious:

Another set of keys handed over and another chapter officially closed at 5182 Station Circle in Norcross!
There’s something pretty satisfying about putting that SOLD sign on a home. Behind it are inspections, negotiations, paperwork, deadlines, phone calls, emails…and probably at least one moment when somebody wondered, “Wait, what are we signing now?” 😂
