🚨 LAWSUIT ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

Don D. Long II, a 39-year-old Black commercial truck driver, will join renowned civil rights attorneys Harry Daniels, Chantel Cherry-Lassiter, and Gerald Griggs for a major news conference this Thursday.

The lawsuit follows a viral video—viewed over 5 million times—showing an unlawful use of force incident by Northampton County Sheriff’s Deputy Gregory Colson. While attempting to attend a required court date on January 22, 2026, Mr. Long was barred entry, pepper-sprayed directly in the eyes while posing no threat, and further assaulted while handcuffed in a holding cell. The incident has left him with permanent vision impairment, severely threatening his livelihood as a truck driver.
