Here are some fast facts about the U.S. nonprofit sector.

In the U.S. alone, there are around 1.8 million nonprofit organizations. (1.5 million 501(c)3 organizations).

Schools and other educational institutions are the second most common group of nonprofits (248,253) after religious organizations and churches.

If nonprofits were a country, they would have the 5th largest economy in the world. 🤯📈💰

Nonprofits are the third-largest employment sector employing approximately 12.5 million Americans. 👨🏻‍💼👩🏾‍💻👩🏽‍💼👨🏼‍💼👨🏽‍💻👩🏻‍💼

Our special education system is broken.

Despite a federal right to a free appropriate public education (FAPE), too many students do not get the services + support they need and are entitled to receive.

I want to change that.
