Judges are watching closer than you think. ⚖️ Here are 5 things they NEVER miss in court — and what you can do about it.

1️⃣ How you speak to and about the other parent
2️⃣ Your level of preparation
3 Your behavior in the courtroom
4️⃣ Your consistency in your child’s life — child support alone is NOT enough
5️⃣ Whether you’re solution-focused

The parent who comes in prepared, professional, and focused on solutions walks out with the advantage. 💼

Let’s talk about it… because custody should never be used as a weapon 👀⚖️

A lot of people think, “They hurt me, so they don’t deserve the kids.”

But family court doesn’t work that way.

Judges care about:
✔️ Stability
✔️ Parenting ability
✔️ The child’s best interests

Not revenge.

In fact, when a parent starts using custody to punish or control the other parent, it can backfire quickly.

Your feelings may be valid, but your custody decisions should always be about what’s best for your child.

Meet Benjamin Brooks 👋🏾⚖️

As a paralegal, Benjamin has a front-row seat to how Attorney Boyd serves clients every day — and one thing stands out above all else: she leads with strategy and puts her clients first.

According to Benjamin, Attorney Boyd takes the time to truly understand what her clients want to accomplish, the challenges they’re facing, and what matters most to them. From there, she develops a plan designed to help them reach the best possible outcome.

Family law cases aren’t always easy, and obstacles are inevitable. But having an attorney who listens, prepares, and stays focused on the goal can make all the difference.
Thank you, Benjamin, for sharing your experience and for being an important part of the team that helps our clients navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. 💜

Let’s talk about the financial mistakes that can ruin a divorce case FAST 👀💰⚖️

❌ Secretly moving money around ❌ Fighting for assets based on emotion ❌ Ignoring debt during negotiations ❌ Signing agreements too quickly ❌ Trying to “win” instead of moving strategically

Divorce is emotional… but your financial decisions cannot be.

The people who usually come out better are the ones who stay calm, informed, and focused on long-term strategy — not revenge.

Let’s talk about it… your child should not be carrying adult problems 👀⚖️

Court issues, financial stress, and relationship drama should stay between adults. What feels like venting to you can feel heavy and overwhelming to a child.

Kids need emotional safety — not emotional responsibility.

Okay… this custody case got REAL messy 👀⚖️

Dad sees a viral wedding speech from his ex’s new husband 🎤💍

In the speech, stepdad is talking about “taking care of the kids” and stepping into that father role… and Dad does NOT take it well.

At some point, the confrontation turns physical 🚨

Now there are:
👉 Criminal charges
👉 A custody battle
👉 And a whole lot of emotions involved

So the question becomes:
Does Dad’s reaction hurt his custody case?
Or does the court understand the emotional side of what triggered it? 🤔

Here’s the reality:
Family court pays very close attention to:
• Emotional control
• Conflict management
• Stability around the child

Because once things turn physical, the focus shifts FAST.

Who do y’all think wins this one? 👀

Let’s talk about something courts take WAY more seriously than people realize 👀⚖️

Parental alienation.

Here are 5 major red flags courts look for:

❌ One parent constantly speaking negatively about the other in front of the child❌ A child suddenly refusing contact with no real explanation❌ Ongoing interference with visitation or communication❌ A child repeating adult conversations or legal language beyond their age❌ One parent acting like they’re the ONLY safe parent

Here’s the part people miss:When a child starts sounding coached instead of natural… the court notices 🚨

Because family court wants to protect the child’s relationship with BOTH parents whenever possible.

If you think parental alienation may be happening in your situation, don’t ignore it and don’t wait too long to address it.

Let’s talk about something people regret ALL the time during custody cases 👀⚖️📱
Posting your parenting drama on social media.
The court does not care how many likes, comments, or people agree with you online.
What they DO care about: 👉 Your behavior 👉 Your judgment 👉 And whether you can protect your child from unnecessary conflict
Because screenshots are forever. Deleted posts can still end up in court. And one emotional post can completely change how a judge views you.
Venting online might feel good in the moment… but proving your case legally matters way more.
If you’re dealing with custody or family court issues, move strategically — not emotionally.

This one right here? A lot of parents are gonna have opinions 👀⚖️

We’ve got a mom and dad fighting over their 9-year-old son.

Dad is an actor 🎬
He travels constantly between Los Angeles, Texas, and Atlanta for work — but he also pays substantial child support and wants to spend as much time with his son as possible.

His idea?
Taking his son with him during work trips and extended summer breaks ✈️

Mom says absolutely not.
At the same time, she’s calling him a deadbeat and demanding he get a different job.

So now the real question becomes:
👉 Is Dad prioritizing work over stability?
👉 Or is Mom making access harder while still benefiting from his career and income?

These cases get tricky because the court has to balance:
• Financial support
• Parenting time
• Stability
• And what’s truly best for the child

One thing family court looks at closely? Whether a parent is genuinely trying to stay involved despite difficult circumstances.

So… who do y’all think the court sides with here? 👀
