Garrison is an Entertainment, Small Business and IP Attorney. With an undergraduate degree in journalism from Clark Atlanta University, she is sensitive to the protection of the freedom of expression and focuses her practice on cultivating and safeguarding creative works. Using her experience with brand management and strategy, she consults everyone from DJ’s, painters, producers and artists to en
trepreneurs, established business owners and politicians in launching, elevating and protecting their brands, ideas and creations. During her matriculation at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School she served as the President of the Black Law Students Association and Vice President of Entertainment for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Ateara is an avid music, art and fashion lover who in her free time attends and supports various music festivals, art shows, fashion shows and listening sessions. Prior to becoming an Attorney, Ateara worked at the branding company The Collective, LLC as an executive account manager, interned at BLWAPC and for former State Representative LaDawn Blackett-Jones. She is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
