🇺🇸 Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we honor all those who have served and continue to protect our nation.

A special thank you to my grandfather, Alvin Wilensky — a first-generation American, WWII hero, and one of my greatest role models.

The son of a Lithuanian immigrant, my grandfather served as a First Lieutenant in the 458th Bombardment Group H, Sealy Crew during World War II. His plane was shot down multiple times, yet he miraculously survived each one.

One story I’ll never forget: a missile once struck his plane right above his head as he was bending down to get a bomb ready to drop — but by sheer luck, it was a dud and didn’t explode.

After the war, he became a CPA, but still woke up every morning to do the same Army exercises he learned in the service. (Maybe I should start doing them too!)

When he passed in 2003, my parents found a box filled with medals he’d earned for bravery — medals he never talked about or displayed. His humility and courage left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Today, I remember my grandfather and all the men and women whose sacrifice and strength protect our freedom. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸

Just finalized a settlement over $350,000 for a deserving client.

Like most of my cases, this one came to me through word of mouth. From day one, I built this file with the same intensity most firms don’t use until trial because I build cases from the beginning better than the big advertising firms. Attorney Michael Wilensky was hired to represent Ebony J. and the daughter she shares with Tevin Hood. Hood, known professionally as T-Hood, died on Aug. 8 in what police describe as a domestic disturbance. Wilensky said he was hired to help her and her mother as attention to the case grows.
