Linville Law Group is a complex litigation law firm representing people injured by bad drugs, defective medical devices, other defective products, and automobile accidents. We are currently looking for a Legal Assistant with a strong academic background to join our team. In this position, you will get the opportunity to learn about the legal industry and receive hands-on training from our experienced attorneys and paralegals. Our legal assistants gain valuable experience working on complex litigations against some of the largest corporations in the world. Working on these litigations will give you experience in multiple state and federal courts across the country. Our firm has a unique background in technology, marketing, and data, which give our legal team an advantage over traditional legal roles. At Linville Law Group, you will have access to the most advanced technology available and the training needed to utilize it.
This is a full-time position with work hours of Monday-Friday.
**Due to the ongoing COVID situation our firm currently works remotely.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with clients to gather information about their cases.
• Provide administrative support to team members including paralegals and attorneys.
• Review medical records and other correspondence from healthcare providers.
• Organize information for each case in Salesforce CRM
• Offer suggestions to improve our procedures to increase overall success rates.
• Work with our team to implement and grow our legal capabilities as a firm.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality
• Advanced capabilities with keyboard shortcuts and typing skills
• Strong organizational and document editing skills (Excel, Word, Adobe, G Suite)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by organizing and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive tasks on a daily basis
• Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in personal injury law, or with a medical background.
