I spent years buying rental properties. Then I realized owning more wasn’t really the goal.
In my 30s, I thought progress meant more properties, more rental income, and a bigger portfolio.
At 50, I see things differently.
I still want my investments to grow. But what matters more now is having choices.
More time with family. Less dependence on a paycheck. Being able to help my kids and make decisions without so much financial pressure.
The houses were never the point. The life we were building was.
Funny how your definition of success changes over time.
Has yours changed too?
