I enjoy facilitating workshops, but I LOVE being a student and receiving wisdom from those who’ve been on the journey of leadership! The did not disappoint with the Women in Leadership CLE a couple of weeks ago. To hear from the judges, partners, and national bar leaders who were “the first”, compare their stories that were told with humor to keep us engaged yet such humanity that demonstrated our oneness on the path to equality was exceptional.

And of course it was great to see everyone in person at the State Bar (I’m a CLE Zoom Queen 👑!), particularly my fellow authors of GAWL’s upcoming book launch March 29th - stay tuned for more details! 📕🎊

I love pioneering women! And last night, my dear friend Elizabeth St John-Hall paved a way for herself and the legacies of three other women through the first of many graduations of her new esthetician program St. John Skincare and Wellness Institute ! 🙌🏾💖

I watched Liz build this program from the ground up, brick by brick, and it was not easy. 🙅🏾‍♀️⛔ There were set backs with the licensing board, challenges with the lease, frustrations with the branding and marketing... All the things that we deal with as entrepreneurs and business owners. But she persevered for herself and those who would come after her. And last night was the culmination of those efforts: three graduates of the esthetician educator program! 👏🏾🎉

Michelle McKay was a great MC and I loved delivering the keynote! 🗣️🎤 Professional pics coming soon, but I couldn't wait to share the joy of my friend's life work, so these will do for now. 😀

The joy in my heart this AM is overflowing! To be a guest on Dr. Angel Kinnel's Spiritual Fortitude program on was everything!

A relationship that began with the then to now being a guest on HER radio show was a full circle moment.

When we met, Dr. Angela *tried* to hide her gifts, but that was a no for me 🙅🏾‍♀️, and I appointed her director of the Emerging Leaders collegiate program. And now she's out here sharing her gifts with such passion... What a blessing! 💖💖💖

Dr. Angela, you are ordained, ordered, excited, and glowing up for God's Glory! 🙌🏾👏🏾🙏🏾 Thank you for having me on your show.
