Lost property = you didn't mean to lose it and have no idea where it is. Mislaid property = you set it down on purpose but forgot where you put it. Either way, keeping it could mean criminal charges in Georgia...from a misdemeanor fine up to 10 years in prison if the property is worth more than $500.
If you're facing a theft of lost or mislaid property charge, defenses exist. Don't navigate it alone. Call Kevin Fisher Legal today: (404) 403-2665
