Summer has been nice, but I’m starting to miss my friends. Campus is beautiful, but it just isn’t the same without the Law Dawgs roaming around.

If nothing else, I’m ready for more stimulating conversationalists than the squirrels. They think torts are the things that live in Lake Herrick. What am I supposed to do with that?

Something has been missing from campus over the summer, but we are just one month away from the start of the UGA Law fall semester on Aug. 24! We can’t wait to welcome our Law Dawgs, both returning and new, when classes begin!

I know I can tend to be a bit of a glory hawk, but it’s a big summer for this guy, so I guess I’ll let him have his flowers. For now.

I’m just thankful we aren’t celebrating a “majestic” turkey right now.

Everyone kept talking about going home for the summer, so I thought I’d give it a try.

It was only later when I realized that you’re supposed to go to your own home. Not someone else’s. Whoops!

I’d like to say I’ve been enjoying the weather lately, but it’s the typical Georgia spring where I’m baking one minute and hiding from a cold rain the next. And for some reason that I have yet to figure out, the squirrels don’t appreciate it when I seek shelter in their trees.

I thought they were storing those acorns for food, not for projectiles. At this rate, I might need a good combination real estate and personal injury attorney. Thankfully, I know a few good lawyers.
