Sunflowers have the distinct ability to absorb toxins! For example, after the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl, scientists planted millions of sunflowers to help the land recover. In exchange for this good gesture, they are less desirable to herbivores for food and thus, their life is extended. What an incredible world we enjoy!

Please join me in congratulating one of my favorite students! Hollisa Logan (Megan) has just become a licensed Alabama Real Estate Salesperson #161616! 🎉🎉🎉

Megan is a 3rd generation Real Estate Salesperson. Her Grandfather, Hollis Hogan Lic # 19152, and her Grandmother, Margaret Hogan Lic # 78428, were both Real Estate Salespersons! And of course, her Mom 😌holds #68761.

I'm looking forward to seeing her doing great things in the industry. Not that she would follow in our footsteps, but rather she would make great new paths for others to follow. Congratulations, Megan♥️

Thanks to Doug McCullough of NAIChase Commercial Real Estate, I was able to attend the sold out Rocket City Real Estate and Economic Forum. Lt. Governor Will Ainsworth kicked off the event with an overview of the State's excitement for commercial development in the North Alabama area.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn about TVA's participation in development opportunities. I hope to reach out for more information to share with you on this. Many other local economists and dignitaries shared their enthusiasm for more exceptional growth expected for 2025. I'm looking forward to the follow-up with the new contacts and future commercial real estate development opportunities in the Limestone County area.

Today I, and several of my students and other constituents, had the privilege of learning from John Steger . John is the Executive Director of Training for Woodland Homes of Huntsville. As always, the class on new construction was most informative and I noted several things that are new to me! If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of his classes, you'll be blessed!
