Prior to his affiliation with Douglas Elliman, he was the owner of Aspen’s first Sotheby’s affiliate (Aspen Land and Homes Sotheby’s International Realty). In his tenure in the business, Raifie has honed his vast knowledge, keen people skills, and ability to negotiate the most complicated of transactions with grace and humor. Identifying potential development projects is a specialized field and a particular expertise of Raifie’s. By first listening and then helping a client assess and determine their requirements, he can capably assemble teams of planners, architects and builders best suited for any client’s demands. An avid cyclist, snowboarder and hockey fanatic, Raifie is a grateful two-time cancer survivor who started Aspen’s “Ride for the Cure” to benefit Susan G. He is also President of the AEF (Aspen Education Foundation) board.
