Atterholt Law got to participate in the United Way Kay Conrad Day of Service today. One of the best days of the year. Skipping out of the office to help out in the community.

Friendly reminder to be diligent regarding scam callers. Today, I was called by an "Ashland County Deputy" to tell me I had failed to serve jury duty in "District Court."

I had some fun with the scammer "deputy," and really had him try his hardest haha.

Please remember that these calls can be stressful, especially for our elderly. Have discussions with your parents about how to be mindful of scams and to always avoid giving out personal information (and banking information).

The best response is usually "I need to talk to my lawyer about this;" at that point, the scammer often will hang up.

Earlier this month, Atterholt Law (Megan and I) took a break from the office toparticipate in the Ashland County United Way's Day of Service. We had a blast helping local seniors, and look forward to being back next year!

We found the friendliest little kitten scared behind our office trashcan this morning. She won't stop purring and needs constant pets.

If anyone knows the owner or would like the sweetest little kitten ever, come pick her up at 10 E. Main Street!

If you are on Ashland Main Street this weekend for all of the great Eclipse activities, you may think that Atterholt Law has converted to a food truck.

While I sortof wish that was the case, we still are just a boring law firm.

But still! Come down to Ashland today! All of the shops are open and hopping and there are food vendors and the Oscar Meyer WienerMobile.
