hrives on working with both buyers and sellers, and equally enjoys supporting individuals and families searching for first-time homes, luxury listings, vacation dwellings, investment properties or land/lots/farms in Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, Waynesville, Barnardsville, Arden, Fletcher, Hendersonville/Flat Rock, Black Mountain, Lake Lure, and other communities throughout the region. Laura gets her love of homes and spaces – and her creative vision – from her mom, who was an interior designer. She credits her dad, an engineer, with her hands-on mindset and attention to detail. After earning her broker's license in 2006, Laura worked for The Settings of Black Mountain, a high-end developer, before transitioning to residential sales and general brokerage. Over the last 12+ years, she has built a strong reputation as a creative, client-centric realtor with a vast knowledge of the market, a tireless work ethic, and a clear, consistent and responsive communication style – from the initial listing appointment or showing through closing. Laura loves what she does and where she lives, and it shows in her attitude, relationships and results. Her passion and enthusiasm was featured on a 2018 episode of HGTV and GAC's "Mountain Life", which captured her experience helping a young family buy their first home in Canton, N.C. When Laura is not selling real estate, she's covering it. An avid runner and competitive triathlete, she spends most early mornings pounding the pavement, cycling through Mills River, or logging laps in preparation for her ninth marathon and sixth Ironman (140.6). Laura also enjoys reading, gardening, playing tennis and spending time with her 10-year-old daughter.
