Meet GTA Attorney and Partner Anna Hamrick!

A North Carolina native with more than 25 years of legal experience, Anna has dedicated her career to helping individuals navigate challenging legal matters. After earning her B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her law degree from George Washington University, she returned to North Carolina in 1996 and has been practicing law here ever since.

Anna is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law and focuses her practice on Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability.

Her commitment to her clients and the legal profession has earned her numerous honors, including an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognition in The Best Lawyers in America® for Workers’ Compensation Law–Claimants, and selection to the North Carolina Super Lawyers® list.

Beyond her legal practice, Anna has long been committed to serving her community and profession. Social Security News 🚨 The Social Security Administration (SSA) has announced a 3.6% Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2027. Social Security beneficiaries can expect to see this increase reflected in their January 2027 payments.

The COLA helps account for rising costs of everyday essentials like food, housing, and other necessities.
