It takes hands to build a house, but it only hearts can build a home.

This is a really sweet card my partner Sam gave me a couple days ago. It's on the fridge next to a photo of our landmates.

I am grateful to live in a connective environment during these isolated times.

If it takes hearts to build a home, to build a community takes strength in relationships.

For me, the true wealth in community is cultivated from a deepening of relationships we have with our home environment, the land, and our surrounding neighborhood and community.

These 11 people in the photograph are not just our neighbors, they are our family.

We feel so at home on this mountain side, and I feel honored to welcome others home to the Western Carolina mountains!

The third photo are our new friends Eva, Michael, and Luna!
I'm excited for them as they embark on their home buying journey! May this young family find their forever home in this haven!

Autumn Equinox 2021
We are celebrating the bounty of the season! For me, a theme of this time is to reflect on my progress, and imagine what new heights could be experienced this upcoming holiday season! This change of the season is so ripe with abundance for our family!
