Dear Illegal Car Wreck Case Runners:

Piece of advice: when your “team” illegally and unethically contacts a car wreck victim, tells the victim they are with State Farm (lie), and informs the victim they have been found not at fault (lie) and have qualified for a “free medical evaluation,” (lie) and provides a number to connect the victim with “the team,” which is to a lawyer’s office …

And then the lawyer on “the team” texts a Permission to Contact Waiver Agreement that request that the victim affirm that they found the law firm through their own research rather than be sent by “the team,” (lie) …

You might have a $50,000 barratry problem.

Pro Tip: When in a crash, call an ambulance 🚑 and get checked out at the ER. 🏥

Clients frequently report that they ‘felt fine’ at the time of the crash and declined to be evaluated by EMS at the scene, since they weren’t experiencing any pain or symptoms, or their minor aches and pains were not concerning. Often times, injuries that don’t involve broken bones (referred to as soft tissue injuries) can have a delayed onset of symptoms. This means that you might feel OK (or maybe a little stiff) at the time of the crash, but hours or days later, your injuries develop into much more serious symptoms requiring medical treatment.

Also, the police 🚔 will most certainly file a crash report if an ambulance is called. Often times the police 👮 don’t file a report unless an ambulance is called.

Think of calling an ambulance 🚑 like an insurance policy: Hopefully you won’t need it, but if your symptoms do worsen (as they often do in a car crash) over time, you have this puzzle piece to add to the big picture as well as a crash report when it comes time to settle with an insurer.
