This is Jimmy Bodies owner of Alpha Choice Construction. He is a scammer. He goes around Texas pretending he's a man of God and takes tens of thousands of dollars in people's money, completely blows the work, and doesn't pay his subs.
So here's what happened. I get a call from a PNC yesterday in kind of a hurry. Nice person that's been done wrong that tells me the contractor is visiting tomorrow to do stuff and asking me if I can be there to handle the doing that needs doing when it comes to contractors. Sure. But I'm going to call Dallas Police non emergency to meet us out there because I don't need tempers getting hot. I wanna keep this above board. Cool.
Contractor is supposed to show up at 10 this morning. I show up at 9am to do my site visit before s**t pops off. I am made aware the this mo********er, my man Jimmy, is the offending contractor.
I know Jimmy from two other of my cases (one case he has representation in active litigation so we aren't going to talk about that case without his counsel present) for doing the same mess he did here. Garbage work. Not paying the subs. Lying to everybody about everybody. Never been able to get him in a room as of yet
I do the walk, take notes on what's up, and wait. Jimmy comes through around 10:15, unhooks his trailer, parks again, yada yada. Then Jimmy comes into the house where I'm waiting.
Me: "Jimmy Bodies, right? What's good, my man? You know who I am and why I'm here, right?"
Him: "Aaron?!?!"
Y'all, I ain't ever seen a man move so fast in his life. This dude moved so fu***ng fast he had no time to tell his painter (another person I came to find out wasnt paid) what was going on and my client had to offer to take his helper home.
Now I have to go let his lawyer know her client has another fraud and DTPA lawsuit headed her way but until she informed me that she represents him for that matter...
DPD showed up 15 minutes after this which was almost two hours after I called them. No one was shot. There's no such thing as a countertop permit. I meant to say he had not paid his countertop person and had not pulled any required permits but here we are.
