Our Story
All Tex Permits is a family owned organization under the direction and management of Steve and Gena Cannon. Combined we bring over 50 years of professional business experience in support of your business needs.
We are a full service beer, wine and alcohol license, sales, and permitting service. We understand hospitality and are experts in the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code offering efficient service the friendly Texan way.
With 20 years of professional business experience, Gena Cannon founded All Tex Permits LLC after working for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as a license and permit specialist for three years, reviewing over 1000 applications per year, including Original, Supplemental, Temporary, Winery Festival and Catering applications. Before coming to TABC she worked for 17 years as the Operations Manager for one owner of several restaurants, bars, private clubs, and wineries which helped her to also understand the process from the retailer’s perspective. As a University of Texas at Arlington graduate in Political Science/Public Policy and Public Administration and previous Master’s candidate in Public Law she brings a unique ability to understand law, interpret legal requirements, and prepare applications efficiently and accurately. After all, when you pay for someone to help you to get your permit, you want someone who has knowledge of all aspects of the process, someone with industry insight.
Steven Cannon is a U.S. Army Veteran that served as an Infantry officer and now serves at the Vice President of Operations in support of All Tex Permits LLC. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has worked in multiple positions through his business career, learning how to manage business operations, in addition to obtaining additional training and advancing his career to becoming an I.T. Help Desk manager. He is a retired contractor for the Department of Veteran Affairs and now looks forward to serving the great citizens of Texas in support of their TABC needs. His ability to manage large corporations, numerous employees, meet customer expectations, and streamline business operations is a critical part of our daily operations.
