The NWSBA is a voluntary Bar Association in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The NWSBA has had a presence in the northwest suburbs for over 50 years!

The NWSBA is comprised of lawyers, judges, and law students who live and/or practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

The Northwest Suburban Bar Association will hold its Installation Dinner on Thursday, June 18, 2026 to install the 2026-2027 Association Officers. Attorney Ernie Blomquist will be presented with a lifetime achievement award.

The Northwest Suburban Bar Association held their annual Judges' Night on May 7, 2026. The event was held at the Chez Hotel in Arlington Heights. It honored members of the Cook County and Illinois judiciary.

The Northwest Suburban Bar Association held their annual Judges' Night honoring the members of the judiciary of Cook County and Illinois. The event was attended by a large number of judges and attorneys and honored Judge Joel Greenblatt with the Scales of Justice Award.

The event was held at Chez Hotel in Arlington Heights.

The Northwest Suburban Bar Association will hold its annual Judges' Night celebrating the Illinois Judiciary members on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Sitting judges can attend free of charge. Registration is required by April 30, 2026.

The judges of the Third District Municipal Court hosted a Women Everywhere event yesterday for female high school students. These events encourage students to explore various careers in the legal world and empower them as females. Students from ten area schools attended. A forensic criminalist spoke to the students with career and life advice. The students also had the opportunity to speak with women in various positions at the courthouse and were treated to a pizza lunch!

The next edition of Lunch and Learn w/Geo will take place this Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom. It is free to attend and NWSBA members will receive one general CLE credit.

The Northwest Suburban Bar Association hosted their 30th Annual Invitational Mock Trial competition for high school students in February 2026. Twenty-six teams attended from twenty-five schools. More pics from the event are available here:
