Almost my entire real estate career ago, I walked into the Schaumburg Baird & Warner office after interviewing with a few other companies. The moment I stepped inside, I knew it was where I belonged — and that turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Now I’m starting a new chapter.

I officially moved to the Arlington Heights Baird & Warner office. The location is the only thing changing. The way I show up for my clients, the work I put in, and the standard I hold myself to — all exactly the same.

New office, same Alfonso. So if you, your cousin, your coworker, or that one friend who’s been “thinking about moving for two years now” ever needs a Realtor… you know a guy. 😉

To everyone who’s been part of this ride so far — thank you. I’m grateful beyond words and genuinely excited for what’s next.

Illinois jumps off this chart for one simple reason.
Housing Inventory is down 57% from 2019.

And here is the part most people miss.
When you compare to 2019, you are not comparing to the pandemic madness.
You are comparing to the last normal market we had.

So when a state sits 57 percent below that baseline, the message is very clear.
This market is not soft. It is starved.

You cannot fix affordability when you cannot fix supply.
You cannot expect price drops when inventory has been cut in half.

Everyone wants to talk about rates.
But this chart shows you what actually moves prices.
Inventory.

And in Illinois, inventory is the story.
It is why our market behaves differently than the Sun Belt.
It is why prices stay resilient.
It is why buyers still compete.

The housing conversation gets loud.
But this chart tells the truth.
