😭Has a trust signing ever thrown you off because the signature format kept changing mid-package?

👉🏽That's exactly what happened here. 2 signers. 3 ways to sign. 89 pages and the required signature line switched — name only, then trustee only, then individually and as trustee — with zero warning every time.

⚠️The format doesn't tell you when it changes. It just changes and most notaries don't catch it until after the damage is done.

👉🏽Here's how I managed it before page one was even turned:
I pulled every trust document out of the package. Stacked them by format. Kept the special instructions center of the table where both of us could see them. Briefed both signers on all three formats before we touched a single page.
Every format change — I called it out.
System over memory. Every time.

🚨 NEW NOTARIES: QUICK QUESTION...

Have you ever finished a signing, packed everything up, and started heading toward the shipping drop... only to suddenly wonder:

"Wait... were scanbacks required on this file?" 😳

I did that!

One of the easiest mistakes to make is assuming the package is complete because the signing is complete.

But scanbacks are part of the assignment.

Miss them, and you may find yourself turning around, reopening packages, rescanning documents, making phone calls, and losing valuable time.

That's why my No Go Back habits are simple:

✅ Confirm scanbacks are required
✅ Schedule time to do them
✅ Scan before you ship
✅ QC every scanned page
✅ Save proof of upload

The notaries who don't go back aren't lucky.

They prepare before they ever leave.

The internet says stop taking low-paying signing service work.

QC Authority says slow down.
