A Day in the Life of Sarah, a Rising 2L at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and Law Clerk with our Estate Planning & Administration Team.

From starting the day with a team huddle to working alongside attorneys Jessica L. Walsh and Gregory J. Ferra, Sarah gains hands-on experience in all aspects of estate planning and administration. Her day includes participating in client phone calls, taking notes, reviewing documents, and creating informational spreadsheets that help support clients and their planning needs.

The learning doesn’t stop when the workday ends. Sarah also had the opportunity to network with local professionals at an Anne Arundel Estate Planning Council event, gaining valuable insight into the estate planning community and the relationships that help serve clients.

As summer comes to a close, we had the pleasure of hosting a happy hour to celebrate and thank our outstanding law clerks for all of their hard work and dedication this season.

Throughout the summer, our law clerks invested countless hours learning the practice of law, supporting our attorneys, and gaining firsthand experience in what it’s like to work in a law firm. Their curiosity, professionalism, and commitment made an impact, and we’re grateful for everything they contributed.

Our attorneys, especially their supervising attorneys, will certainly miss them as they return for another exciting school year. We wish each of them continued success in their studies and future legal careers.

Our thank-you happy hour was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a firm, celebrate our people, and enjoy time outside the office. Thank you again to our incredible law clerks for a fantastic summer. We can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish!
