I’d like to formally introduce myself.
My name is Velinka Goddard. I am a second generation born Serbian American and I am the legal assistant for Elvis Cameron and Elle Basler.
I will be enrolled in Murray State University to obtain my paralegal license beginning in the Fall.
I am the woman behind the phone, behind the desk, and the first face you see when you enter our law firm. It is my personal responsibility to ensure that first impressions are lasting well beyond the initial consultation for our clients. Nonverbal cues have over four times more impact than verbal communication. When clients come to us, it is my moral belief that everyone should be treated with the utmost respect, comfort, and confidence. We are a safe place for the public. I revel in learning the rationale behind everything and everyone. It is my passion; therefore,I am fueled by it.
Working at Cameron Law Firm has taught me more than just legal practice. It has taught me that we are here for you in times of despair, hope, and celebration. We experience every moment with you. Currently my work load consists of preparing Warranty, QuitClaim, and Executor Deeds. I proof the wills, prepare the Power of Attorney documents and occasionally prepare receipts and disbursements for estates.
Aside from work, I enjoy collecting and searching for 1st edition books, accumulating and tumbling rocks, discovering vintage goodies, becoming lost in a book, studying about quantum physics, and the Serbian-American notorious man, Nikola Tesla, a quantum mechanic, and his 3 6 9 theory, and spending time with my little family.
I’m elated to be a part of this firm, community, and client support system. Above all, I'm overjoyed to share this experience alongside my daughter and husband whose lives forever changed mine. I owe it all to them.
